With growing concerns about antisemitism across the United States, university and college administrators must increase their knowledge and awareness of Jewish identity, diversity, antisemitism, and inclusion on campus.
AEN’s Signature Seminar Series brings together university and college administrators, including student affairs staff, diversity officials, and other campus professionals for online and in-person professional development to learn about these important topics, network with colleagues across the U.S., and develop strategies for creating a more inclusive campus environment.
The series is led by AEN’s Leadership Team and its expert faculty members, with each session building on content from previous sessions in order to provide participants with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the diversity of Jewish experience, historical and contemporary manifestations of antisemitism, and practical guidance for creating an inclusive campus environment while ensuring free expression and academic freedom.
Join AEN and your fellow campus administrators for the following professional development opportunities. All sessions will be delivered online via Zoom on Thursdays from 2:00-3:30 PM ET unless otherwise specified; dates subject to change.
Participants will be provided reading materials in advance of each session in order to increase their knowledge and understanding of the content. Following their participation in the series, each participant will receive a letter from AEN certifying their professional training in antisemitism awareness and Jewish inclusion. We anticipate that participants will gain expertise and skills that will equip them to better serve as allies and advocates for Jewish students while ensuring an inclusive campus environment for all.
