ANTISEMITISM EDUCATION INITIATIVE

WHAT MAKES ICCI UNIQUE?

ICCI is unique from other programs and organizations that engage university and college administrators in antisemitism education in the following ways:

  • Brings faculty and administrators into partnership

ensuring that the work is credible, sustainable, and reaches across the campus community.

  • Provides an academic lens

through which to understand the Jewish
experience, Israel, and antisemitism, increasing the depth of knowledge
among administrators.

  • Offers unique content models

developed by faculty experts and geared toward the needs of specific administrator audiences.

  • Understands the nuances of the higher education space

thereby allowing expert guidance to be tailored to the considerations of
administrators.

  • Utilizes the faculty network

to reach administrators who might not otherwise engage in the work.

  • Creates multiple avenues of engagement

meeting administrators and their institutions where they are and supporting them to take next steps.

  • Focuses on relationship-building

creating a network of administrators who can support one another and partner with faculty.

  • Supports administrators

to better understand the faculty dimension of the challenges facing Jewish and Zionist students, including issues that take place both within and outside of the classroom.

  • Emphasizes not only the student experience

but also the campus workplace environment for faculty and staff.

  • Partners with multiple student-facing organizations, in order

to mobilize the best resources for addressing inclusion.
